Hello, I am Janet Ottonello, and I created Janatello Designs in 1998.
I am a native Californian, born in Santa Cruz. The inspirations are created by working with you so your dreams come to life. I design and fabricate handmade artesian jewelry using the finest of metals and stones available, making your jewelry sophisticated and perfect in every way, for every day.
As a self-taught designer, my jewelry design ability comes naturally, and my work is an extension of who I am. I constantly study and keep updated on colored stones and diamonds and other aspects of the business. I have won design competition in the American Pearl contest and have entered many other competitions. I annually attend trade shows to keep up with the latest trends and see new materials and stones that are available. Most importantly, I want to talk to and engage with vendors from around the world.
Since 1998, I have been creating one-of-a-kind designs for customers just like you. Using precious metals, natural colored stones, and top quality diamonds these designs are quality at its finest. Being unique and having a design that is truly you and only for you, gives you a chance for your imagination and creativity to come to life. A purely handmade piece that is rare in our modern world. My work is not only an extension of who I am, but foremost, I love the process of connecting to my heart and transferring this to my customer. Many designers have similar looks and processes, but I love the idea of being totally unique and still keeping the look versatile but with bold individuality.
All of my stones used in my pieces are from reputable vendors who are committed to using conflict-free stones. My desire is to always to strive for a high level of excellence. My love for jewelry and my job has always been a passion. The love for art and creativity gives me the inspiration to create new designs and ideas just for you.
